What is the Difference Between One-Piece and Two-Piece Toilets? Which is Better?
Before we peel the onion back a layer, it can generally be stated that most manufacturers consider a one-piece toilet to be the tank and bowl as one solid piece and includes the seat at no extra cost. A two-piece toilet is a component set that includes a tank and bowl ordered separately. The seat is not usually part of the component set and can also be purchased at an additional cost. The toilet seat is usually universal and can be purchased from any manufacturer. Mechanically, one-piece and two-piece toilets are both good options, so it may be just a matter of personal preference until the onion is peeled back a few layers.
Mechanically, both designs offer dual-flush technology where unnecessary water waste is controlled based on the cleanup of solid waste (1.6 gallons per flush) and liquid waste (0.8 gallons per flush) in the bowl. Therefore, when the onion is peeled several layers back, what unfolds as a major feature for one-piece toilets is an ease of cleaning from many manufacturers. It makes perfect sense that a smooth contour would make one-piece toilets easier to clean. Elimination of the nooks and crannies between the tank and bowl with holes and bolts connecting them also eliminates the accumulation of germs, bacteria and odors that can accumulate in that area. Given the difference between one-piece and two-piece toilets, which is better? It still is a matter of personal preference. If spending less money, or tradition, are the deciding factors, then customers may choose two-piece toilets. If spending less time cleaning and a contemporary flair are the deciding factors, then customers may choose one-piece toilets.

How to build a strong structure with two pieces of paper?
I started engineering today in school and was given 24 inches of masking tape, scissors, and two pieces of construction paper. I'm allowed to do whatever I want with it but have the structure be atleast two inches tall off any surface. What is the strongest structure I could build since it has to be able to support a great number of books (20+). A bridge is not possible since I only have two pieces of paper, but does anyone have ideas?
Cylinders are crazy strong! with one paper i would cut it up and make as many cylinders as you can of the same height then place your second paper on top to provide a base.
